Of the Sixth Cohort the century of Caledonius Secundus (built this).

Commentary and notes

For the same cohort and century, see RIB 1679 and 1854 (the latter probably by the same hand). For the same centurion, see RIB 3385. The nomen is probably Umbrian, and a connection is likely with Caletonius Secundus, veter(anus) ex duplikar(io), of CIL iii 4411 (Carnuntum): see E. Birley 1939a, 234–5.
