It was the merit of Ulbert-1974, p 197 giving the correct identification of this inscription, understanding simply that the supposed LAE-(crimp)ligature had to be rotated 180 degrees according to its attachment to a connecting crimp with the leather point of the belt that should opposing the opposing buckle to become the UT ligature and correctly completing the inscription sequence as (crimp)-UTERE FELIX-(buckle).
